You can register as soon as you have a positive test. The sooner you report, the more calmly we can prepare together. We usually schedule the first appointment around 8–10 weeks.
We will call or email you within one working day, answer your initial questions and schedule your first appointment. During the first appointment we will calmly explain what you can expect.
Yes. At Femme we offer both forms. You can indicate in advance what you prefer or we will discuss it together during your first appointment. Are you in doubt? Follow the short selection aid above.
Both. We supervise both home births and outpatient deliveries in HMC Westeinde and the HagaZiekenhuis. Together we will discuss what suits your situation and wishes.
In case of blood loss, severe abdominal pain, ruptured membranes, regular contractions, feeling less alive or fever. Are you unsure whether you should call? Always call. Better to have too much than too little.
Yes. Midwifery care and standard ultrasound scans are 100% reimbursed by basic insurance, without a deductible. For additional ultrasounds, we check per situation whether there is a medical indication.
